Sound System

Since the initial setup of Boogie-Nite four years ago we have invested heavily improving the equipment used in our show. All of our equipment is from top names with a solid reputation for quality, power and clarity.

The main speakers we use are Funktion-One Resolution 2 speakers with F218 Bass Bins where required. In addition, we have a pair of 12" 300Wrms PA speakers for smaller venues and for use a monitors when necessary.

We have recently spent £9K upgrading our PA system to a state of the art Funktion-One system, they pursue an approach of excellence in design, manufacture, usability and ethics in their speaker design and presentation. Most notably Funktion-One supplied a Resolution speaker system for the central show at London's Millennium Dome as well as numerous clubs throughout the world.

Electrovoice Q66 Amp

The Q66 amplifier is based on EV´s reference-standard P-Series. It guarantees the same high-quality construction and output, restricted only by the maximum power capability of 2 x 600 watts. The Q66 is designed for cost-limited mobile applications or smaller installations. It includes rear-mounted, dB-scaled, level controls, and is packed into a three-rack-space, zinc-plated steel housing.

Funktion-One X01 Speaker Management System

The XO-1 features 2 inputs and 6 outputs, each output features crossover filters, 5 band parametric equaliser configurable as high and low shelving filters plus limiter and delay. Full metering is provided for inputs and outputs, with mute and access buttons allowing quick set up and gain adjustment.
2 Inputs and 6 outputs provide for multiple crossover formats including full stereo 3 way.
6 x 5 band parametric sections, plus high and low shelving filters for box equalisation.
High performance limiters on each output.
Precise 2.6 µS (less than 1mm) delay increment for perfect driver time alignment.
80 non-volatile preset memories.
19 User memories (OEM definable).
Delay linking option allows speaker box alignment while keeping driver alignment.
Mono sub mix is provided.
OEM and end user loadable presets.
Excellent sound quality: uses XTA's proprietary AudioCore DSP engine and algorithms which allows the unit to be configured & setup live using a PC.
